ON THE FARM-A mini music festival presented by Chorus & Clouds, Secret Society of Books and Oh Clementine! August 2nd, 10AM-1PM at UBC Farm, Poplar Grove for ages 0-99!
Here we go!!!! If you thought your summer family plans couldn’t get any better…think again! On August 2nd, Oh Clementine will be holding their 4th annual Musical Folk Concert Farm show edition! Some call it mini-fest, some call is ‘babychella’ but we’re calling it the biggest and sweetest family music event of the year! With special guest Alice Hardin who will have the most beautiful mini music experience for kids! Think about this: idyllic farm grove with birds soaring overhead, natural beauty and a blissful community spirit! We’ve been throwing these events for years and we hear from you all that you absolutely love it!
How the event will unfold:
Arrive at 10AM as the Farm opens its gates. Then, go put your picnic blankets down in the Poplar Grove, just 100 metres away down the dirt path. Settle in or go visit the farmer’s market and get snacks and food! The show begins at 10:30AM with Alice Hardin gracing us with her southern charm. Children of all ages will adore her! We can’t wait! Feel free to Visit the loveliest Kellie who will be parking her mobile book truck right on site where the concert will be happening. You’re welcome to go anytime! And bring used books to trade to her or donate! Kellie works closely with a number of organizations that need more books so children can have access to a variety of high quality books. Then, at around 11:30AM we’ll get ourselves all cozy, with food nearby and our families and friends to love on and be blissed out!
Oh Clementine! will perform a very intimate set within the poplar grove. Enjoy the idyllic beauty with sensorial decorations throughout the venue. Let children interact with the world around them and all natural materials. Shimmering decorations and music instruments offered will ensure children will be creators and makers of joy too!

*parking available all along Ross drive as well as parking in community centre under ground, or the nearby U-Hill School parking lot, bus stops within steps of the farm entrance point, bikes are welcome!

TIPS TO MAKE THE TIME EXTRA SPECIAL:
bring picnic blankets, wagon to stroll in your needs and bevies…sun tents for those who want to have extra shade
arrive on time so we can share our music fully as we only have access to the farm for a limited amount of time
plan ahead, parking is plentyful but there will be the farmers market go’ers!
Bikes are welcome in!
Bring your own food and drink if you like but the Food vendors will be ready for you!
